  • I was kind of hoping that he would run. I'm a republican from Virginia, but I would have probably voted for him over whoever gets the nod from the republican party. Even though he veers slightly to the left, he is still closer to my politics than those on the far right.

  • holy crap. If they were actually aiming at Hawaii... I dunno, I don't think even Kim Jong-il is crazy enough to launch a missile at the US. I don't know what the hell he's trying to achieve, but launching a missile at the US is just asking for certain death.

  • You clearly don't know what you're talking about with your analysis of the Packers. Their defense was and has been terrible for a few years now so they picked up A.J. Hawk in the first round. Then they got an O-lineman and wide receiver in the second round.

  • assman, if you like TWiT and diggnation I would recommend Digital Life TV (dl.tv) and Cranky Geeks. They're excelent shows as well, although they cater more to a video audience than audio, but they're still great to listen to. (the websites are dl.tv and crankygeeks.com)

  • Jarrod, I would recommend Adblock and Filterset G updater as two of the first things anyone new to firefox should install. You configure them once and you're done; no more ads.

  • fastfinge, we (the Unites States) invented the internet. I think we earned the right to a few top level domains all to ourselves :-)

  • I bought an iPod because I like the functionality. I needed a lot of space, and some of my friends had iPods and I saw how easy everything was, from syncing with iTunes to getting it to actually play your music. The interface is so easy to pick up. you don't need directions or anything.

  • you're being a little sensational if you ask me. Yes, we should probably give the kid the benefit of the doubt, but if he wanted to run an experiment with it, he could have asked his teacher without actually bringing in sugar to school.
